Accessibility Statement

Sellpy believes all preloved items deserve a second chance. Our websites and Sellpy App are being refined for inclusive access by all our customers. We strive to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard to ensure an inclusive experience. Complete conformity has not yet been reached and we are working to improve the parts that are not fully accessible today.  

How accessible are the digital platforms?

We are continuously working towards improving digital accessibility, whereas the following areas for improvement have been identified across Sellpy’s websites and App. Please note that the listed issues or areas for improvement may not apply uniformly to both websites and App, and the presence of individual issues may vary depending on specific pages, features, or components.

Identified areas for improvement include:

• Lack of sufficient alternative text for images and other non-text content
• Inconsistent heading structure and lack of programmatic identification of input fields and labels
• Limited non-visual alternatives for sensory cues such as shape, size, or location, and reliance on color alone to convey meaning in some areas
• Insufficient contrast for text and non-text elements in some areas
• Limited keyboard accessibility, including lack of visible focus indicators and potential for focused elements to be obscured
• Missing navigation aids such as skip links, and unclear link purposes in some cases
• Inconsistent navigation behavior and limited alignment between visible and accessible labels
• Forms may lack clear labels, instructions, and helpful error suggestions
• Lack of proper semantic roles and unannounced status messages for assistive technologies

Progress in motion
Accessibility is built into every release cycle. Our digital platforms have been reviewed with the help of external tools and improvements are made in accordance with the findings. In-house teams track fixes and validate improvements. This statement updates with each significant release.
